Capital Ship Design within a Game

So I've been spending quite a bit of time playing Empyrion - Galactic Survival. I have been remodeling a ship designed originally by ITDocMan, the Xiphos. I created a video of the process, "The Making of the Thanatos Mk III" (exterior only) and uploaded it to YouTube.

Escape Atlas: Potential DLC Design for StarForge

This is an incomplete design document for the game StarForge. It could have been implemented as DLC. This document was originally intended to be posted in the StarForge community forum for feedback and as such is formatted using BBCode. Furthermore, the forum had a 60,000 character limit. The character limit meant the design would be incomplete although if should retain sufficient content to express the goal of the mod.

At some time during the beta phase the developers abandoned the forum and the game. The game was hurried to a production release with game-breaking bugs. Furthermore, the official forum was shut down. This document became moot.

Regardless, I want to post it here, as a significant piece of work and partial accomplishment. I wanted to make it available to those who may be interested in the difference between fan-fiction and a game design document.

Concerns Regarding Mars Colonization

I have been a fan of 4X Space Strategy games since before home Computers. Back then I believed we had sufficient technology to terraform Mars. I have grow up, matured, and my understanding has increased. I became increasingly dissatisfied of 4X game developers and designs that allowed for colonization of any and all planets in the galaxy, period! So I wrote a short story that basically expresses my thoughts on colonizing Mars let alone any other planet in the galaxy. Hope you enjoy.

More Fan Fic

I just uploaded another of my fan fiction game-play short stories. This one is incomplete. While I have considerably more content, it is mostly unpolished (up to chapter V). Should I return to this story more chapters will be added at that time.
